I had a wobble and I think i need a diary

Another very stressful month for me the end of July was a nightmare but i have kept padding as and when i could.
I have finally had to courage to work out where i stand with my debts and well i'm quite shocked and it has given me a good kick up the bum.
I officially haven't added to my debts. In fact they have come down since i did my first SOA. They haven't come down by a lot but i don't think i care they hav just not gone up.
It has also accurd to me that i need to be bit more realisic with my PADDING. You see the problem i have is that i just want to pay them off asap, (which isn't a bad thing but) so i throw all my money at them and then think hold on a minute that means i don't have enough money to get me through the month, and it then becomes sooooo tight and i struggle and then i end up where i have been for the past 2 months (in a very dark place).
To counter this, i have mad a spend diary, everything i spend i am writing in this book and at the end of the month i can go through it and see what i have spent on and what in the next month i can cut out.
Also i am going to pad towards at the beginning and the end of the week, so for example, i get paid on monday, i will make a little pad on monday and then won't pad again until i know i have enough to get me through, so what i have left on sunday i will pad. this also means i will be looking at what i buy thinking if i don't buy that today i can pad more at the weekend - hope that make sense.
I'm a little behind my christmas target and it may take me till next christmas but i'm gonna do it.....

Well its been another good first day back for me, I have made a pad and have been catching up with the goings on on here.
I have cleaned the house, sorted some household stuff out, dvd's etc, have calculated where i'm at with my debt, caught up with an old friend, made tea, been shopping and put some pictures on facebook.
Didn't get to the gym and missed midsomer murders but hay ho, i'll try to watch again, and the gym can go on my list for tomorrow.
Good to be back (again)

Morning All,
Todays project, well i want to cut the grass but i think it maybe a bit wet at mo and by the time i get round to cutting it, it will start raining.
Just said on the PAD, its blue skys interupted with grey clouds so who knows.
Also today, i got to go to the gym, finish tidying and go to work.
Going to start the day by checking the bank accounts, probably going to say i have no money but wheres the change.

Sounds a good plan to me.
I was the same this time which was why I couldn't PAD for the whole of July and I only get paid every 3 months so when I mess up I mess up big time so have to decide today the PAD strategy for the next 3 months so it doesnt happen again oh to be paid weekly:D
You will get there though and so will I and thats what matters

Been to the gym, did a massive 1hrs cardio work out, treadmill (30mins), cross trainer (20mins) and bike (10). A whole 500 calories burnt! Now i have a headache lol.
Also made a pad, brought a camera, cut the lawn, and may sort my itunes out.
It has also been very sunny here have got 1 load of wash dry, and another washed and pegged out, shame the washing only leads to ironing - the work is never ending lol.
Now i'm off to work

It funny, i seem to go through stages of struggling, throwing it all away, struggling getting back on track, I'm on this site I'm off this site.
I've just been reading through my previous posted and I have to say I have enjoyed reading them they are so true, but I can look back at them with wonder and hope as I have made it this far and still here still plodding on and in these times even when I am not on here I am still Padding, still trying not to spend still trying to pay off my debt and look towards saving.
I have signed up this month for the NSD days in October and have put myself down for 10. (I have no idea how people do 20 days or more) I have yet to make 10. Gonna do it this time. I have also given myself a little mini challenge to see how far the money in my purse last. I have £35 and if I was really MSE i would make that last the next 3-4 weeks, however I am not that optismistic (which is probably why I will never maken it to 10 NSD's) however i am going to try. If i can make it last till next weekend that will be amazing - I am going out friday night and saturday but i have budget for that from other funds so I should be ok but I do have a weekend to get through and I go on holiday for the weekend next weekend, this could be a challenge.............
Will update as I go..........
Talk to you soon

Yeah SHWA's back!
Personally I am on here a lot as it's the only way I can keep track! It works but sometimes it doesn't. Good to see you back and good luck with the NSD's. I can't do it myself, have had a total of 34 NSD's in 175, not good!0 -

Hi Swinstie73
34 out of 175 made me giggle:rotfl:I have been like that for months i think in August i spent money nearly everyday - very bad - and then i wonder why i had no money ??????
Thanks for encouragement I shall and still need it. It is difficult somedays, like i'd love a new ipod or new clothes but no i will not give in - i think if i can make it to christmas i may have a treat (the MSE in me says I shouldn't but sometime you need a reward - its something to work towards anyway).
Good news today I have lost 3lbs making it 6lbs in the weeks which has given me a really good boost to keep it up.
My pad was a bit on the small side but i am hoping to pad again later..........
Cashless became debt free yesterday and I can't wait for that to me, its a real good kick up the bum when someone who has been struggling just like you finishes the race and has won the good fight it makes me what it even more
Well Must get my bum to work now, will ramble somemore later talk again soon SHWA1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0 -
A few months back in my diary I mention that i cut up a card so I couldn't use it, well yesterday I was brave. I paid the final payment and closed the account. In my head I have been leaving these accounts open for just incase what if I need them, well tough. If I NEED THEM FOR WHAT - TO GET MYSELF INTO MORE DEBT! - sometime my thinking can be backwards.
So thats 2 CC's down 1 to go.
I am now concentrating on the last cc and my OD.
I was going to open a saving account to put all my PAD money to my sealed tin in but have decided to bypass that and go straight onto the credit card, if its gone i can't use it.
Can't wait to be debt free.:o1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0 -
Morning
I can't quite believe we are in October....... where has the year gone.
Had a good weekend this weekend, took my mom out for her birthday and did alittle bit of shopping but didn't buy alot only a cardigan yesterday, which maybe I shouldn't have brought but it is getting cooler and I need more warm clothes, still no luck on the winter coat yet.....
Didn't get any NSD's or do much padding but I am hopeful for today and the rest of the week.
I have to cut my budget, I have been keeping a diary on how and what I spend my money on over the last week and I am quite shocked. I spent in 7 days about £40 (will get exact figure when i get to work), this was mostly on food, top up shops and bits and bobs and I have looked at it and thought why? why have a spent that much on food I don't need most of it and I am a little shocked with myself. Although we did have a takeaway curry on friday night which was yum.
This week I am giving myself a budget of £15 to get me through the week should get me through determind to have more NSD's... Today and tomorrow i am hoping for.1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0
