Recommended Digital Camera under £100

I have spent all week searching through many different sites looking at rechargeable digital camera's. I have recently lost mine & need to replace it, my old one was pretty poor (Premier) so anything I get is bound to be better than what I had. I don't need anything too fancy, but would want it to be rechargeable..
Can anyone recommend a good camera, which they've bought & used? If you could provide cost or a link, that would be great.
Thanks,

I got my Fuji J150w for £99 from JL, but they have bumped the price up now :(

You can get a Refurbished one direct from Fuji here for £79.99, but I recommend taking out the extended warranty.

    They're all rechargable.
Can you give some idea of the spec you want, there are lots of cameras under your price level but what features are you looking for, eg megapixels, zoom range etc?

£100 is quite a low budget for a decent compact, if you stretched to 140-150 you'd get a nice and very compact Canon Ixus.

However for £89 you can get the Canon Powershot A580 from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00131SIAY/ which is a decent little camera for the money. This is brand new, not second hand or a refurb.

Megapixels are pretty irrelevant on a compact anything 5 or 6 is fine for most usage, the A580 is 8MP, with a 4x zoom. It takes AA batteries, but for under a tenna you can buy a set of 4 NiMH rechargable ones (the camera takes 2 at a time), so you've got all you need for under £100.

Canon Shop on E-Bay.....Refurbished but good as new with 1 year warranty........get an Ixus for about £75.........brilliant.
Dont get a Fuji they dont use SD cards....which are much cheaper and flexible...ie the Wii will only take SD cards.

    Hmm... Mine does!?!?

    As does my daughter's!!

EDIT : I will agree with roddydogs about the Canon outlet on Ebay. I bought a Canon 5d for approx £500 cheaper than the likes of Jessops and I got the full 12month warranty along with all the paperwork, software and cables. Cost me around £1400 and it's only recently since the 5D MKII came out that the MKI has dropped to a price below what I paid 2.5 years ago!!

Not with batteries, just plug in & charge up.

I've been into Currys/Comet & Asda this evening to get a feel for features. Unfortunately you can't switch them on.

In Asda there was a Casio priced @ £70 which was rechargeable EX-Z9 in silver, with 8.1 mega pixels, 2.6" LCD screen which I thought wasn't badly priced. I'll need to check out reviews against this model & see what's said.

Comet had nothing really, but Currys had a Kodak @ £89.99 with 10 million pixels it said, unsure what the difference is between mega & million pixels, but that's what it read, that had a 3" LCD screen.

I know I'll have to purchase the SD memory card seperately, Asda do one @ £6.47 or buy two for £10.

Thanks for the replies so far. More ideas & recommendations welcome. Cheers

Most of them tended to use XD cards, but maybe they've decided to change that?
