It runs from 10am until 6pm. Entry is free and a donation for the programme is all that is asked. Carparking will be available (£3 all day AFAIK) entrance only by Stoney Road.

It's back this year and we're looking forward to it being even bigger and better than last years!

Stormont Estate, 10am - 6pm in aid of Children in Need.

Hopefully the weather will be better than last years! Apologies if its already been posted but thought it deserved a new thread instead of just last years re posted!

My only word of advice is to bring your own food/drinks, last years queues were the major down point of the day for us and I've learnt from my mistakes!

Mumof 4 or should I say 5? Thanks for the plug. I do know there will be another lady with a Chocolate Fountain there and she also use a screen but not like ours. We will be in a red & white Gazebo and we will also be doing popcorn. I will be along with my OH. Hopefully we will be busy and therefore wont have time for another domestic lol! We have a Gold logo on our black shirts/coats etc and we will have a white van advertising ourselves also.

Beccam I'll keep a watch out for you as long as you dont go into labour at my stall cause I would disappear. I am the one in a red & white Gazebo with black hair and glasses. Hubby will be with me also and he's has a receding hairline or if I'm really blunt he's going bald!

:rotfl:well I just did a carboot sale this morning and had my poor mother a nervous wreck incase I went into labour beside her but sadly not! Don't think this one will come out til he's dragged out of me on the 7th June by elective section so you should be safe!

Was reading back through and had forgotten that we were filmed and I did end up on TV, thankfully for a short period of time only though long enough for me to be getting text messages saying "hahahahaha I saw you on telly!":o

Don't think the forecast is looking too good though!

Well the Fun Day is in full swing and there appears to be plenty of people attending. Unfortunately for local residents, like myself, there is the usual shambles of parking in every possible space. Why can't people use a wee bit of commonsense instead of trying to save themselves an additional 5 minutes walk? Surely it's against the Highway Code to park on a corner or on a bend, never mind half across people's driveways?

    Makes me mad

We're not long home now and have to say I would hate to be living round the area.
When we parked up at about 10.30 we managed to find a space no problem, not blocking driveways, away from corners etc etc when we were walking back to car it was a shambles....particularly like the 4x4 parked ON TOP of 3 traffic cones!!

Was a lovely day, great weather for it (I'm slightly pink on the chest area) and DD enjoyed herself.
We were there at a good time so queues weren't too bad but looked quite horrific as we were leaving.

My only down point was I said hello to choco (who is a lovely lady and wasn't even arguing with her lovely hubby at the time ;)) but when I went back to buy her wares the queue was so big we had to miss out!!:(

Very impressed at myself for carrying the 38week bump up the hill and around the parliament buildings though still no sign of labour!!:D

Becam lovely to meet you today. We have literally just finished washing up all the equipment until Wednesday when we have a wedding. I asked OH had he seen you again and as he said no I thought maybe baby was on the way and you had to leave early. No I didn't argue with hubby or rather didn't have another "domestic" today as we were both too busy and tired to do so. Today was bery good but I thought perhaps they should have had some type of childrens music playing in background. Also met up with Booklady agian. Good luck with baby
