Just to make anyone interested aware of a family fun day at Stormont Estate on Monday.
My DD is off nursery so glad I now have something to amuse her!! ;)

10am -6pm and in support of Children in Need, apparently there is a teddy bears picnic and best teddy judging!

Think it's in the Parliament Buildings car park marked Car park A on the map thought they often allow parking on the avenues as well.

Bad weather but still had a good day and dripped in the door home about 5pm with a very tired little girl behind me!:D

There was an excellent turnout, despite the heavy showers. There were hundreds of little teddy holders who seemed to have a great day out. There was plenty of things laid on to keep everyone occupied. And of course our charity for the day - Children in Need - will be receiving somewhere in the region of £20,000, so thankyou to all who contributed, especially our very generous sponsors.

Well it was intended to be a Teddy Bears Picnic. Please don't read that wrongly - very few brought picnics, just as well the way the afternoon turned out.
I think we have learned lessons from this and will ensure more food and drink stalls/outlets are available next year. One hour queues were unacceptable. I will post the total raised here at the end of next week, but £20k is the target and my fingers were sore counting by Monday night! ;)
