this search thing is rubbish.
should be 3 months and drop off in 6.
defaults if settled should drop of in 3 years and 6 years if unsettled.
the system at the moment gets your back up.i.e if youve defaulted or alike your e screwed for 6 years.you may and should pay money back out of principal(or not)but what do you get for it,nothing.
people who dont pay are no worse off,and in some cases better off.
wheres the reward for defaulters/or alike who pay what they owe and want to pay and wasnt there fault in the first place.its total crap
i have no defaults or alike but think the system encourages non payers.
i bet there is a lot of people who dont settle there defaults but would if it reduced the adverse data period,even if there was perhaps an admin fee or something.
