Hi all,

As many of you may be aware, windows and the programs own uninstallers often leave a mess behind after they have apparently uninstalled. This could be empty folders, superfluous files, registry entries etc.

A handy little program that goes some way to conquering this is revo uninstaller.

It uninstalls things as usual, just more thoroughly.

w w w.revouninstaller.com/

enjoy.

<edit> I forgot to add that it was free, just a simple download from the site.

I've heard good things about Cleanse Uninstaller aswell. It's a shame that programmers are lazy when it comes to writing script for the removal of their prog.

Erm... free only if you accept one of their other trial offers, most of which cost some money.

At $19 (about a tenner) it's just as cheap to buy the darn thing as take up some of those other offers, one of which only gets you freebie stuff on a spend of twenty quid.
