one2one : How do I find my remaining balance?

Hi,

I'm trying to use my old mobile & find out the remaining balance, but the Network is coming up as one2one. Googleing suggests that they were taken over by T-Mobile, so I tried dialling 150 which their website says gives you your current balance, but got a message saying 'calls to this number are not being connected'

I can call other mobiles okay. I know I can use it until it run's out - but I would like a rough idea when that might be :)

Take the sim card out and see what it says on there, if it's one2one, my advice would be to go into a T-mobile store and speak to them, as one2one was bought over by t-mobile about 8 years ago.
Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.

There is usually a clause in the t&cs for PAYG phones saying something like if not used in 6 months to make or receive a call the phone will be disconnected. Your phone has probably been disconnected.

That would make sense, except the OP said

The customer service number for one2one used to be 121, try that, or try 100.

Or you could also try registering on the t-mobile webiste at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/service/your-account/signup/

The reason it says one2one is because it is in an older phone, not because of the age of the SIM. But I think 150 should work, so I dont understand this

Is it possible it's a Virgin sim in a really old handset, have a vague recollection that they used to show as one2one on some old handset due to them using T-mobile's signal.

Maybe try calling 789 as thats Virgin cust care/balance line
