i buy some from my local bargin shop
i get 40 for £1 cheapest i have found, i just dont put as much rubbish in them, but for 2.5p each you cant grumble if you have to use 2 together0 -
I stick to the Aldi ones, they are pretty tough very rarely have any problems. I have a brabantia bin as well one of the big ones, so the sacks get pretty full0
-
What is making them split? Usually I'd suggest it was one of these reasons:
1] the bin bag is flimsy
2] the bin bag is full to bursting
3] the items in the bin haven't been broken down so have sharp edges
As it's not [1] that leaves just [2] and [3]
[2] don't fill the bag right up, 3/4s full should be max
[3] tear up everything that you put in the bin into small pieces; be aware of sharp edges and place those items down the middle core0 -
just buy some more from your local council. They are cheaper and better quality, than anything in the shops

I haven't bought bin bags in years. I use the plastic bags my on line shopping is delivered in. Betterware (and other places for sure) do a nifty plastic bag holder that's just like the top of a swing bin. About six quid I think it was. (Sorry but I can't find it on the Betterware site now)
It's similar to the picture below - but mine doesn't have the super duper carrier bag holder at the bottom - and was certainly nothing like the price charged here! There are sure to be cheaper versions about the place.
This one takes its own special bags by the look of it - but mine was designed solely for carrier bags. I chose this puicture because it gives a good idea of how it works.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
