I have spent nothing today. I think I am about to make an extra £152.55 as well. Finally got my P45 from the job centre & although I have had no letter from them, it says "benefits to date £152.55" so I am taking that as the money is on it's way to my account (bout time as well, only claimed in January!)

Quick digression - this reminded me of a scene I very much enjoyed in Tesco a couple of days ago!

Kid: <agitating> I really really really really WANT this!!
Mother: Well if you really want it you can buy it out of your money. You'll have to give me £4.
    Kid: <peering at box> It says £3.something (was 3.97)
    Mother: <brusquely> That's £4.

It was either great moneysaving if she squirrels away all the extra pennies or awful childraising by not confirming there should be change ;)

He he..love it! Unfortunately, son remembered there was 'brown' change (1p) ...and we ALWAYS put the 1's, 2's and 5's in his piggy back! He won - note to self, I must try harder!

Pixie - I had a coupon with the latest clubcard voucher mailing for 500 points on a £20 or more order with flowers, was this the one you had (and if so how did you get it below ;) ?) I know my Mum is planning to use hers for my sister who is due to give birth any day now.

An expensive day for me today

Paid £258 of a CC (the eight pound was an extra due to my pennies :D )

    £40 on my weekly shopping
had budgeted £50 so happy with that and got more than i had hoped due to great BOGOF offers on things from my list.

so not a great day but it had its positives :rotfl:
