charitygirl wrote:I spent £50 on a haircut last week - that included highlights, restyle and blow dry. Felt horrendously guilty, but it needed doing and it won't be cut again until July. The lady has been doing my hair for 9 years, and she comes to my house and runs her own business. I like her, and I dn't begrudge her the money so I guess its ok! So I do feel your pain ms_london!
Hehe. Thanks Charitygirl!! To be honest, the last time I had it done was before Christmas, so it is long overdue. For all I preach on budgeting, I should be put money aside each month for it? But have I? No! :0)0 -

Hubbies finally out of hospital so I can get back to some semblance of a life! :T
Anyway – I would love to start back off with a no spend day but that’s not going to be happening as that darn man from Tesco’s is coming again this evening and you know he’s going to want some form of payment and I’m sure buttons aren’t gonna do it :rotfl:
Ah well – tomorrow is another day

Hoping for another no spender today - got an amazon book to post, but that's it (plus £6 in change for the savings ac). Good news is I got my Tesco credit card pin number through today (no card yet) which means I can start getting something back from them. Which is great considering most of my spend per month can be done through that card rather than any other. Baby stoozing, I suppose. If I manage it.
Spent £7.18 yesterday at Tesco (!) on groceries for the week, which should see us to next Tuesday ... phew!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0 -
