Springtime... and I'm going in with a monstrously expensive day today so please be good to compensate ;)

Things I already know I'll be paying:
    £150ish for car fix
    £30ish for OH at dentist
    £6.50 prescription charge
£3ish for busfares out to Mum's and into town for car - can no longer get a dayrider as Stagecoach decided not to keep the contract for the route out to my parents village

    Good luck with the no-spend P-P :T

Going to spend £110 on car tax (eugh!) but thats all.

Payday on friday though - trying to have a cheap week til then.
  • I am hoping for a no spend day today! I only spent 55p yesterday on a choccy bar for the OH so haven't been too bad this week.

Its payday on Friday and I just want to keep myself with as little spending as possible until then :)

An end to a long run of no-spends for me, unfortunately. Playing an (unpaid) gig tonight so will be paying a train fare and the odd pint. About £15 today I think. On the plus side, Nationwide will be crediting my bank account with £50 as they didn't manage to switch my account with no hassle - so I may still make a profit at the end of the day!

Nothing so far, but I'm meeting a friend at the pub tonight so will spend somewhere between £10-20. Still have plenty left in this week's entertainment budget though, so it's ok!

Getting my hair done tonight - so £50. That is cheap, believe me!! My old flatmate (who is a hairdresser) is coming round mine to do it, so dont even have to leave the comfort of my own home!! To be honest, I would rather not spend the money (being as tight as I am nowadays!), but it needs doing!!
  • I spent £50 on a haircut last week - that included highlights, restyle and blow dry. Felt horrendously guilty, but it needed doing and it won't be cut again until July. The lady has been doing my hair for 9 years, and she comes to my house and runs her own business. I like her, and I dn't begrudge her the money so I guess its ok! So I do feel your pain ms_london!
