If they have paid and the money is in your account, send out the item via special delivery and I think that will be fine.

Looking at the winning bidders feedback it looks fine to me nothing suspicious. I would send it, just wait a few days though maybe 4 or 5 to be sure. I am a powerseller with over 1000 feedback for what its worth

I think he/she meant that judging from their feedback rating and power seller status that they know eBay pretty damn well

Don't send it Recorded Delivery as you will only be insured up to the value of £30 which will not be nearly enough to cover the cost of the phone. You need to send it Special Delivery.

Hello there,

A few years ago I sold a phone on ebay

I recieved payment through Paypal (I had the money in my account)

A couple of days later, I went and posted it !

BIG MISTAKE

Later that same day Paypal took the money back!

Turned out it was a stolen Credit Card and guess what ???

Thats right! "Paypal were'nt interested in the fact it was already posted"

I'd lost the phone, the money and even the P&P to ship it

BUT

I was really lucky because, I went back to the post office and after alot of begging and pleading. I was able to get it back, but i still lost out on the P&P.


I always recommend now that:-

When ever there is a large vaule payment made the account say over £50,
to always withdraw it first and then wait for it to clear in the bank

That way you can ensure you have the money!

Also, I must warn you that what happened to me, still happens ALOT!

The person that conned me was from Nigera!

But many other poorer countrys seem to try this too

Be extra careful about sending high priced items abroad, you may even pay out for special delivery, insurance ect but that dosent cover you if Paypal take the money back !

Like anything in life - Trust your instints

If it dont feel right then just walk away

Theres always someone eles that will buy it!

Bidder tried 3 times to win same phone, but I'm amazed you refused to sell at £91 earlier, yet accepted £86 from same bidder in another auction a day later?

Anyhow, send via special delivery as stated above.
