Weren't Balkan Sobranies the ultimate in posh? Oh and Peter Styvesant. And then liquorice cigarette papers, nutmeg and banana skins. Rolling machines, Zippo's. Even a pipe at one stage.

Keep with the smoking memories, or I might end up mentioning tank tops.

More, my dear fellow, if you want the ultimate in posh. A slim brown 120mm panatella of carcinogenic heaven.

Of course it also made one look slightly effeminate, but worth it for the totally upmarket pseudo cigar imagery.

That was me.....but I don't let my kids behave like I did...ever...I tell them straight; Work hard, head down, study, study, study, obey the rules...and you'll have an OK life.

I went ''naughty'' on a mid teen diet of 35 hours of classical music a week. I also had a pretty heavy think about Byron and Blake for a while....the bad and the mad.

In fact, dance music helped straighten me out a bit. The devil's music helped turn me into the angel I am today :A

[edit] LiR - you could buy 2 woodies and a couple of matches in a retail pack 'when I were a lad', some corner shops sold singles in a paper bag...
