I think it's natural to assume that people are your own age when they seem to have a similar point of view, which is probably why I assumed you were the same age as me. And I do think you're wise - I agree with Max (in your sig) that you are a voice of reason (assuming that he didn't really mean to say "vice of reason"). So it was a bit of a shock to find out I'm a whole decade older. But then I thought I'd better be careful how I said that, in case it came across as insulting, cos that's the last thing I'd want. So please do take it as a compliment.
It's interesting that Cleaver is <30. Do you know how old any of the other regulars are?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Wow you dudes are like really old  Man I hope I've gone way before 30, that is so ancient you must creak when you move lolz. Didn't realise this is like the bus pass section of MSE, no wonder you fuddy duddies are so worried about pensions, and houses and stuff.
I would say "get a life" but you doomies have used most of it up - lolz.I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -

Not really, but I am older than you
My sister is older than Lydia too. (by a long way)
Technically I suppose I could be a grandma. you know, in a different life. In the classical world I'd be an old, old lady: perhaps some kind of wise woman in a cave on a hillSame in medieval times. Bronze age I'd have been a long time dead by now. Age is relative.

Yay! Just read your blog and saw the good news from Mercedes and Ford.
Congratulations Max. Looking forward to hearing what happens next.

No, I thought you were older. Don't really know why. Something to do with the confidence, perhaps, and the "seen it before, didn't get taken in by it then, am not going to get taken in by it now" sort of attitude, perhaps.Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
