Going to have to leave my flat

Hi, I live in a shared flat, which I am soon going to have to leave as I am unable to find people to move in.
I'm unemployed, male, 31.
As far as I'm aware, my only option is to move into council housing. How quickly can this process happen? I suppose it depends on availability and all that, but then I would have thought that I'd be a low priority.

Why can't you find anyone to move in? Is the price too high or is there something wrong with the flat? What about looking for an existing house share to rent a room in?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Unfortunately as a single (?) male you will be bottom of the pile.0

Council housing? Good luck with that - they have been so depleted of stock by the "Right to Screw everyone else" scheme that they are hardly any properties left. And those that are left are taken up by the dredges of society or what are classified as "need cases".0 -

Yes I agree with a few of the previous posters. I am a single childless white male...you have to be VERY lucky to get a council house if thats your current status in this disaster of a country...a government who would much rather send millions to try and sort out every other country in the world's problems and forget about their own d@mn people.

Think that should be 'stinking'.... :rolleyes:Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
Why on earth should any system supply subsidised housing for a healthy single male of 31?0
