I would like to join the weekly flylady thread. So is this how I do it?:xmastree:- add the Christmas tree and my MSE name noapron?
For my Thursday list, Level 1 isn't needed at the moment in Master Bedroom
Level 2, Window and floor
Level 3: Tidy shoes. No binbag dance (did one yesterday)
And the ironing will be a lot more than half an hour as it has piled up after dd being ill for a week. Have allowed 3 x 1 hour.
My morning routine
Nebulise, sit (30 mins)
coffee
shower, dress and generally get ready for the day, including husband and dd out the door and beds made.
Collect laundry. (I aim for 60 mins but it's more like 75)
Next part of routine is.
Un/load d/w, wipe tops, deal with laundry - sort washes and hang out if wet load in washing machine. Put in another load to do overnight.
tabs inhaler, have a tea.
Other daily jobs.
Have healthy lunch (recently diagnosed diabetic), prepare tea, clear away and tidy kitchen, including any non-d/w washing up and put away, along with shining the sinks.
S&S bathroom (already done today)
Night time routine:
Nebulise (9.00 p.m.), lay out breakfast, put stuff to take next day by front door (there is no guarantee it will be taken ... ) lay out clothes, tablets, check school stuff and homework. Keys and phone by bed. Get ready for bed and aim to be in it by 10.00 p.m.
My MACAW is either walking to shops and back (25 mins) or HH on Wii Fit (which I do enjoy)
Want the house in good-ish shape by weekend as it's birthday on Saturday and I hope to go out for the day - so leaving a mess and mega jobs to do would be horrible.
If I get to do all the above, should I post back - again with the Christmas tree?
Linda.
Today I also aim to flip a hoover round the ground floor, but after 3 hours' ironing, all I'll want to do is have a strong drink (but I'm not allowed so it'll have to be a fruit tea)0 -
Hi Linda
You only need the christmas tree once, it's just so you get spotted and added to the list, our official 'meeter and greeter' Toots has been a bit poorly, but I'm sure either she or Quillion will send you a welcome PM as soon as possible, with lots of info about what to do.
You seem far more organised than I was when I started here!! You can post back as often as you like and let us know how you are getting on, but don't try to do too much all at once, all of the rooms come around again next week, so babysteps while you are starting off!
Post any questions you might have, don't worry, we don't bite (well most of us don't), hope you have a nice day and that I haven't just confused you!

Morning everyone!
Nice to see some more new faces!
I managed to get to M&S this morning and guess who I saw there? LadyLiberty! It was lovely to see her, and I'm really looking forward to going for afternoon tea next week. 2 of the items available were a bag of sweets and a can of drink, and because so many items went so quickly yesterday (only allowed 5 per customer), they said we had to have these as 2 of our items. So, I got a black leather passport holder for OH, a pretty dotty scarf, and a necklace with a sparkly heart pendant on it (not really my taste usually, but the other options weren't either, and I didn't really fancy any of the other items available). I may go back again tomorrow as their things change each day, but try and get there earlier as I got there at 8.15 and the queue was already really long.
I've arranged to visit a couple more schools to look around as I don't think that I can have got an interview for the NQT position in Leigh Park, as they are interviewing tomorrow and think it unlikely that they'd only give one day's notice. Never mind - lots more jobs seem to be coming out now which is good.
Think I'm going to go and put a load of washing in the machine to try and decrease the laundry mountain that never ends. The trouble with going to the gym, is that it produces more washing! I'm off to aqua aerobics tonight cos some of the ladies at body combat last night said that I should go along as the class is quite small and the instructor is getting a bit depressed cos no-one is going (probably because it's on at 6.30 when people are watching the soaps or eating dinner). I made another friend there last night as she was returning to the class after being away for a bit and knew the ladies I already talk to.
Right, in the words of Elvis "a little less conversation, a little more action" is needed to fly, so I'd best get on with it. I expect a HHC has been issued since I've been gassing, but if not, would anyone like to join me in a HHC 10.45-11.15?
