Ah Toots you are a wonderful woman. It's so lovely to have you back on the thread. You always have a really warm thing to say. :):D;)

I was thinking the exact same thing!

I am ready really early for work as DH is up and out earlier for his exam again. Could go for the earlier train but I want to finish my cuppa and so I might fly a bit instead... or at least attack my personal list.

Out helping with GB tonight so won't get much done, though we're planning a deep clean this weekend so not worried apart from keeping it tidy.

When I came home yesterday DH was hoovering the keyboard, having taken all the keys off....he'd read about it in my 'thrifty ways for modern days' book....:rotfl:

Not done any flying yet, just going to drop LO off at holiday club then get on with some studying for my last exam. Hubby is taking me to see Angels and Demons later.

    Morning

    Wooooohoooooooooooo Toots is home

It is so good to see you back where you beling :D

I didn't get chance to post yesterday, only caught up on the thread just before bed. Mum, Dad and I started on operation 'fence' yesterday before I had to dash off to school to help walk the little ones down to the leisure centre to play mat ball. Then when we got back to school I had a meeting about Miss A's forthcoming residential trip.

BUT I did some flying, decluttered the baby swing to someone with a baby!

I have total brain overload at the moment so can't remember all that I wanted to post but I do remember congrats are due to lil_me's OH and to rach, generalised hugs to everyone else ;)

    Morning lovelies!

Boddy he must have had it all planned out cause the CRB check takes 6 weeks to come back and he was there for 5 lol

Pigpen I'm not sure you should be anywhere other than bed, but Good Luck at College and the exam xx

Rach congratulations! Well Done gal :D :T:j

Some nice person decided to help themselves to my nice new bin yesterday  they didn't leave me totally without one, they replaced it with some grotty thing full of carp....niiiiiiiice! That really peed me off last night lol

Got littleys play this morning then a trip to the workwear shop with OH he's looking to buy I'm just looking, I love that shop. Then I've got work for 3 hrs, then we're off to Asda again cause littley wants to see it and I need some spuds and carrots. Thankfully biggest part of her room was done on Monday so not much to do in there.

Something I did a while back, funnily enough I was talking to DD's about it last week and we're starting again this weekend. I've been working very long hours over the past eighteen months and have started using mr T's more and more because i've had so little time (although I do still use the local shop/butcher for an awful lot). This weekend we're heading into a small market town near us - it won't have everything we need but it'll cover the basics & some extras, it'll be fun and will only take as long as a trip to Mr T's to walk up and down the street popping in all the shops & having a good browse.

    This was the thread
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=369405
and I'm super excited to find it still active:j:j
Thanks skintscotslass without you I might not have gone looking for the thread! Why don't you give it a try even if you just cut down some of your supermarket shop and buy local it will make a huge difference.

Wow! What a fantastic thread! Thank you for that kscour.

I do use local shops when I'm in Edinburgh (where I work). I pop out in my lunch hour and go to a Chinese supermarket and an Asian shop. I must confess I use them because they are cheaper :o eg in the Asian shop I get a huge bunch of herbs, around 200g for 65p. I buy milk in the newsagents beside my work, again, because its cheaper.

Hmmm....I can see what I'm going to be reading this morning :D I feel a challenge coming on....
