Phew...finally caught up reading this thread! And now off to bed :D...I've stupidly ( ? ) invited two Mums and their one year olds round tomorrow, and although I've cleaned, I have child proofing to do in the morning.....

Greenbee ~ Yes I'd love to be in on sending positive thoughts to Toots.

pigpen honey I dont know how the hell you are still standing - what with tonsilitis. water and kidney infections, 8 kids to look after and all this college work - You are amazing but you must be totally wiped out!

As for not doing things in the house I think the older children could do little bits to help you even getting the smaller children as 'assistants'
What about teams of maybe a LO and BO and making it a competition to see who can get jobs done or their rooms the tidiest - would that work?
    Maybe having star charts?
You certainly deserve to do well with your college work as you are trying very hard with your assignments - it will be good to get them out of the way.

As for Tiddles -my heart breaks for her and you but you have done it before you know the score and you will get through this with her. The exercises wont be anything new to you but I know its all time consuming.

You are not a carpy parent - just a loving parent with a lot on her plate and who has been left in the lurch by a !!!!!! - he could be doing so much more.
Anyway enough ramblings from me - I will send you all the coping and healing vibes I can to help you get through this.
I know how difficult it is to accept help and to ask for help - I am independent and stubborn like you but there comes a time for the sake of your own health and sanity that you have to ask/accept - please please do it - you need help!

    love and hugs
    tootsxx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Morning all. Lots to do today - was finally decided yesterday that we would bring a couple of international students into our home - some may remember we have done this before - but I now realise that I don't have enough sheets etc for the extra beds. Today's rooms are perfect as I'm changing my kids rooms around; turning the computer room into a bedroom; and getting the two other rooms ready for the new boys. I'm not going to get it all done today, but will make a good start, I hope!
