Europcar Car Hire Code Wanted

As well as the code mentioned by Duncans mum which only applies if you pay in person, if you really want to pay online (might avoid a long wait at the agent's desk) Europcar are offering 11% cashback on Quidco (no it can't be used in addition to the voucher code).

Personally I'd rather pay on pickup because I'm paranoid about my flight being cancelled (damn you Icelandic volcanoes).

When I checked it was for online payment, but that was for a UK hire, so maybe it is different if booking an overseas one?

I have just spent the best part of the morning trying to get the best price for 2 weeks at the end of July. I have tried codes upon codes but the best price was to go direct and they gave me a very good discount which was way better than online.:T
We have used this company many times before and you get what you ask for with no hidden costs (like the fuel) when you get the destination to collect the car. Happy hunting :beer:

Lots of questions here

Where are you and where (location/country) were you hiring the vehicle?

What discount did you get by asking the office directly, prices and percentages?

Was that by telephoning/emailing/calling in to the office concerned.

I've hired from them several times and find them good, but even though there aren't hidden costs, like most rental companies they charge for all kinds of extras - like reducing huge insurance excesses.

Thanks, I may try contacting the office directly next time, but was getting some 20-30% off some online quotes by using the code.

Got all excited, but it is still the same discount as I get from the code posted on here back in May, 44091496, but useful as an alternative, now have 2 good codes I can use.
