Matty, I have a 22yo son and beleive me i'd want to know everything. I would hate to think that he wasn't telling me about something that was making him so miserable. It might be a big weight off your shoulders.
Good luck Matty.0 -
Hi
Sorry to hear of your circumstances. (((((((((hugs))))))))))))
Do you pay PPI on your loans, if so by cancelling this would reduce your monthly payment? Try and cut back on the petrol useage (do you need a car?) and switch to a PAYG mobile. Definitly take your own lunch in, either sarnies or left over meal from the night before and heat up at work. Im sure you have plenty of clothes so this would give you an extra £400 in 12 motnhs to throw at your debt. Taking on a 2nd job sounds like a good idea or maybe look for a better paid job if able
Good luck hun.

yes as a mum to 2 boys and 1 girl 34, 30 and 27 i would be very sad to think they thought they couldnt come to me with any troubles they might have, my role is not to judge them but for them to know i will always be there for them no matter what, its a really big burden for you to carry on your own, although there is great advice on here0

i think twink pretty much says it all.
You think they may be ashamed of you? I doubt it very much. Your their son and they love you very much, with or without your problems. Big hugs :grouphug:0 -
Matty I am really sorry a bout your girlfriend. I was in a state three years ago with debt. I had to contact a solicitor and his advice was a protected Trust Deed. It lasted for three years. I had to workout all my outgoing, mortgage, council tax, food clothing etc. I was left with £200 a month that was paid every month for three years. I finished on January of this year, so i am now debt free. So don't despair find out more about it. I should have been paying over £800 a month but with the trust deed I only had to pay £200 for three year.
Take care
