tiscali for internet and phone is excellent

Been with Tiscali for a few years now. My latest bill for anytime talk and anytime broadband is £21 inc Vat. My broadband speed is limited because of the area I live in which is a fairly new development, but generally I get up to about 2mb speed. Customer services is terrible but i have learnt now that if you have problems just e-mail the provider, far easier than calling India and a lot cheaper! Also Tiscali have been taken over by carphone i.e. talk talk so am hoping that things will stay the same as they are now! It helps if you have a good quality laptop/pc with at least 3-4 gb cos anything less will be slower.

Glad you have no problems with them, personally if a place has poor customer service I take my business elsewhere.

Not sure why you need 3-4 gb (of whatever) for surfing the net, but I am glad you find them ok.

The appalling customer service is fine until you lose your connection for days. This happened to us twice with Tiscali and the call centre were useless.
