It was the section on page 2 of the application, i said i would be interested in BT so the 3rd page was the BT section. The only debt i mentioned was credit cards not anything else. Hope i have done it right!

When you say struggling are you missing payments? If so then you can count a card with deals out. They really do look for people with an improved or good credit history.
Your credit rating isn't harmed by single search on your file, it's multiple searches within a short period that start ringing alarm bells.
The OP shouldn't worry about the loan, but hopefully look to Super Balance Transfer to their bank account and write the loan off during the 0% periodI'm going for my QuidCo £million!
