Catalogue new washer and bankruptcy
Comments

Hi all I would just like to say in my defence that when I originally ordered the BNPL items earlier this year I was not looking into bankruptcy, and thought as I am with an employer which gives you annual pay rises, I could therefore afford the payments once I needed to start paying next Feb, I have now decided to use my BR fees to purchase a new Washing machine and will just have to wait until I have the funds again for BR fees.
I am sorry if I have given this board a bad name, and that I am now being classed as a troll!
I would like to thank Merry_Gentry, for your comment: -
“The majority of people who go bankrupt do so after a long, stressful, difficult time, often due to a change in circumstances far out of their control. And helping these people is what this board is about.”
I have had a long, stressful and difficult time over the past 12 months (probably no more than anyone else ) and have agonised over the decision to declare myself BR and so I am now at the point of no return and this is the last option for me, I have found a lot of help through these boards and have found a lot of alternative ways around things that I have not had the best advice for over the last couple of months, so I would like to thank you all for your comments.:A0 -
You have not given the board a bad name. When people post they never give the full circumstances and things are never what they may seem, so don't worry. BTW you are not the one who is being called a troll, so don't panic about that.
Do as suggested and see if you can get a washing machine off Freecycle. Or cheap in the local papers or put your postcode into Ebay and see if you can get one cheap from there. My last Freecycle washing machine lasted me 2 years, I expected 6 months to a year so set up a little fund to save for a new one (£10 per month and a sealed pot for change) and bought myself a new one when the Freecycle one finaly went kaput.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I myself had managed to keep my head above water, but because of ill health I had to give up my full time job, but thankfully I kept a little part time job that I had and am managing OK. But no more Credit cards for me once bitten twice shy
