I got declined for an RBS credit card about 14 months ago. But everytime I phone my bank, as I have a current account with them they try to offer me one, and send out the forms to me anyway. Is it worth actually applying? Then appealing when I get declined.

RBS work differently mate, they can approve you over the phone/in branch/internet and send the forms but then when you send them back, they do more checks and at this point they find baddies and decline you....

Obviously if you bank with them its worth a try, they do search both EX & EQ and also perform Synectics Solucions, Experian DA & N hunter checks.
