Book a driving instructor, Many are doing cheap booking ie 5 lessons for £25 (I think 5 should be plenty)

    Hi Mrian,
Do u know anybody offering 5 lessons for £25. That s quite a deal. I have been searching for an economical driving instructor

I very recently bought a manual car after four years of driving an automatic. When I drove it home my gear changes were all over the place but after a day or two I'd got the hang of it again. Had the car 2 weeks now and haven't stalled it all; my OH (who has always driven manuals) finds it hard to drive though because the clutch is very stiff compared to his car. I find it easy though because I only drive this one and have got used to it.

It's all about getting used to the car, is strange how you haven't managed it one month on. I'd back up the suggestions on here - have other people drive it, have car checked over and if all else fails try some refresher driving lessons. :)

    Good luck!
