Baloney, this is another reason why you MUST NEVER speak with these idiots on the phone.

Thank you 10 past 6 i was panic struck, if that money cannot be used i will not get a DMP as my money alone after priority debts is taken out leaves a shortfall of about £110.

    Hi folks

I know my son's DLA he is 14 was included with the income through CCCS, I did also wonder about that.

However, a token plan is arranged and not a DMP, as there is nothing left to make a plan, until this improves etc, since the CCCS, my hubby's union as he is still paying these on a low amount every month since coming out of work are looking into this for us also now, as we only found out yesterday they are able to help.

I would have not been much better off with the cccs, that is why i never went through with it.
I have no objection to being fair, i did the debt and i am not trying to escape it, but i was left penniless and could not even get a taxi for hospital appointments, the answer was to get rid of his cat maybe, as this was a waste.

Have you tried Payplan or CAP (Christians Against Poverty)

  • no i have only tried the help arranged through the CAB, but is seems to be temporary, just being set up for 3 months with a token payment of £1 then reviewed, i want a permanant solution as eventually the legal aid will go and i will have to deal with it on my own.

I don't know who your creditors are, but if this helps, i had a letter off the HSBC and Alliance and Leicester, also MBNA all recommending the cccs.
Maybe something to do with it.

CCCS are very good, and done all they could to advise us, but we have not signed anything and if I'm right we are not tied into this as such, am I correct?

We have since cancelled a few insurances to take them cheaper so we can make a little more to go towards hopefully more of a permanent plan, when hubby spoke to CCCS Thursday he forgot to tell them this, but made contact with them again yesterday, so that is almost £100 saved and we are also looking into non tied contracts such as SKY, as we had this for a few years now, as right now we have the £19.50 pack, and we are going to look into a smaller package.
I don't watch much TV, but my son with autism enjoys the nature documentaries and going to see what we can have in a cheaper package and to remove Cartoon network with him being 14 now.

And again switch to a cheaper gas and electric supplier if we can, just little things like this add up to make a plan.;)

    Good luck.

At what they do, such as paying creditors yes I agree.

As for any other issues like court claims / disputes etc., etc., no, they have a question mark hanging over there head.

Lost of peeps on here have come unstuck following the advice from CCCS, which is the reason I say to everyone, never involve CCCS in any dispute with a creditor / DCA.
