One dish meal for the main - casserole, spag bol, cottage pie, mild chilli

For pud ice cream - with wafers and sauce for the kids and maybe an apple crumble for the adults.

Keep it simple and focus on spending time with your mum not cooking.

Cheese and broccoli quiche, h/m veggie burgers or falafal for the veggie option? (There's a recipe on old style I can look out for you if you fancy making the veggie burgers. They're scrummy.)
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

We are having beef in beer (the alcohol is cooked off) yorkshire pudding and veg. For pudding treacle sponge and custard.

The beef is in the slow cooker and the rest wont take OH long to prepare:D

Whatever you decide to cook have a lovely day.

  • For every family party ect that I do I always make a huge bowl of coronation rice salad which is super easy to make and always gets demolished first.
to make a big bowl make up as per instructions 3-4 packs of curry flavour savoury rice, allow to cool, add chopped dried apricots, cashew nuts and cooked chicken ( can be left out for veggies) mix the lot with mayo and enjoy.
It tastes fab so much better than it sounds
    Hope this helps..

Well were going to have a late Mothers day lunch mainly because I've been suffering with my fibro for past few days and haven't really been getting up much before about 2 in afternoon.Well my ds all four of them and my dd have prepared a roast beef dinner from scratch with all the trimmings They remembered to put the beef in slow cooker last night. For afters my daughter has helped one of her brothers make a pavlova (got recipe from this site) as neither wanted to make the lemon meringue pie that was orininally planned .It all smells lovely table is set so I'm off now as have orders that they are serving up now .I love my children for all they do for me and the extra mile they go for me Enjoy mothers day everyone :A
