Benanke drives a Ford Focus! Talk about frugal! I wonder if thats a political statement?

Not sure what his wages are, but seriously, I am sure he can splash out on something better than a focus?

Edit: He is on only 183,000 USD, which really surprises me. I wouldnt mind betting he has some mega bucks saved from his previous life as a banker.
  • Ben B Timmy G and Obama have between them 1 years experience in non government industry. Im not sure any of them are very rich, not from private industry. I'd be happier if they were to some extent
The real problem with those guys is not that they are horsemen of the apocalypse but that they have no idea of profit and loss outside of government subsidy, they have been inside a bubble their whole careers.

Career politicians are the scourge of Western Economies. They just don't understand that each well meant target or form or tax applied to business is a direct cost on that business in money, jobs and (worst of all for small business) time.

Nobody should be in any form of politics before the age of 40 beyond stuffing leaflets in envelopes.

  • Looks as if that mbga chap was spot on. Looks as if all that monetized debt is causing big headaches for the USA, just like he/she predicted. What a hero.
