Great Cheap Easter Egg Hunt

I have discouraged all grandparents etc from buying easter eggs (although they still do - but only little ones) an instead the kids are likely to get a coupleof pounds to spend on something that will last a little longer like a book or a DVD. They still are only half way through their xmas stash! So much for trying to get them to eat healthily!

Ok,my local Bells store (Sainsburys) are doing 3 mini eggs for 89p. But they are also doing the most yummy scrumptious Turkish Delight mini eggs, pack of 3 for 69p. For those of you who are reponsible parents(Like myself!!! :rolleyes2 LOL) the eggs themselves are in two halfs, so you can have half now and half later, (Or scoff the lot depending on how you feel at the time, hehehe! :j) So, as my 23 year old son said, your getting 6 for 3. (He likes a bargin too!! )

Reference the easter thing. Have 2 good suggestions. Have an 18 month old nephew and want to let him have a treat but not be a guts!!! (we will leave that to the adults :rolleyes: )
Have just been shopping at morrisons. they have an offer on supercook egg kits. There are different ones. I have got one were you boil eggs and die them and decorate them into different emergency vehicles (I work on ambulances so a bit biased by that one!!) also a kit to make small chocolate lollies in different shapes that they can decorate. My friend got one that has egg moulds and icing in it to decorate them. You dont have to buy the chocolate coz thats in the packs to :j.
Figured if they make the treat they will enjoy it more than if its bought for them. I think they were 2 for £3 or bogof something like that.

Costco has a deal going this week..

3 of their 4 packs of small eggs (2 buttons, 1 creme egg, 1 dairy milk) for £5.98+VAT. That's 12 eggs.

If you happen to be in that neck of the woods Cadbury World are selling 4 medium sized eggs for £3.99. Weight 205g. Variety available. I got Crunchie, Buttons, Creme Egg, Mini Egg, Flake, Dairy Milk to name a few!

Think I saved some £s as I had to get 12! Yay!

Yesterday I was debating whether Tescos or Asda would be the cheapest for these eggs and plumped for Asda (they had a great range of easter eggs last year) The eggs were 3 for £4 but I was dissapointed with the selection this year, now I know its cheaper at Tescos and I could have saved £1.00 on my total purchase Grrrrrr...normally I would take them all back for a refund then re-purchase them again but I think I'll leave it this time as they are so bulky!

Have bought my DDs the new Harry Potter film for Easter along with a couple of these eggs.

just back from sainsburys and they are selling easter eggs 3 for £3.50 brands included are mars creme egg flake to name but a few.this is the cheapest place ive found for them so far

My local Woollies is currently offering large eggs with a couple of choc bars in the box for £1.66 each. These were £2.49 last year. They are Cadbury, Nestle etc., so you know what you get for your cash. :j

This may not seem like a bargain compared to all the others here, but if you only have one to buy you don't need all the multiple offers really.....unless you are treating yourself as well of course
