Last year I decided not to wast money buying loads of Easter Eggs for Nieces, Nephews, Neighbours kids as they always seem to have so many
.
So instead I went on to World Visions site http://www.greatgifts.org/GiftSelection/home.aspx and bought Some Chickens which will lay eggs for people who need them more! I sent the personalised card to my Nieces and Nephew and little Easter cards to the others with the message "Eggs are not just for Easter - so I bought Chickens instead" and also printed the World Vision Pic and explanation and put that inside.
Don't get me wrong I am a committed Chocaholic  , so bought DD a big Egg in the sale after Easter thus saving money and feeling like I had help to make a difference too  !Growing old is manditory, Growing up is optional! :j0 -
You can make terrific easter egg nests using crunched up shredded wheat covered in chocolate too - looks like little sticks!

At my local Hyper Value store in Bristol this weekend was a large (approx 8 inch) easter egg also in the box was a choc bar and something else, (sorry trying to remember from fading memory as I have only just read this thread), I thought they were good value and the belgian choc is fab.
Happy easter egg hunting to all.

Just use jelly moulds. Animals work well. A thin coat ot two to start off with, let them harden, then go for the real thing. Freeze them to help get them out. Wonderful!

Does anyone know why you can buy carob easter eggs from?
Haven't seen any in Holland and Barrett and the usual suspect of shops
Its not down to an allergy or anything, just prefer the taste and they are less likely to have nasty additives in
Obviously being a DFW the small size would be better (used to be around 50p).
Many thanksDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
