halloweenqueen wrote:Well done catowen - I saw that on one of Martins make me rich, they phoned to cancel were put through to retentions and given half price package, are you going to phone them again in 3 months and say you are not convinced its worth full price??!!!!
Yes, the reason i gave them for wanting to cancel was that i was finding it expensive, and the programmes we watch are all from the premium channels, so no point in downgrading!!! She told me i would have to ring again on Aug 1st to cancel, so i will, and say that i can afford the half price, but not the full price, and hopefully they will offer it again!!!! If they dont offer it, i will go and buy a freeview box!! Some people had said the freephone number wasnt working, but i found it worked for me, so saved a few more pennies there!!!! Think Pork Chop deserves another £1 for the phone call!!!!0 -
You are all doing good. We ended up using our pig to save really hard to buy a good present for someone. Not as good as paying off our debt but good that we never took on more. Our pig is still getting used and thats the main thing.0

I've managed to get my overpayments up to over the £200 mark. Shopping was fun with the family...we had a few things put back that got thrown in the trolley and kept my budget.
Actually I'm surprised that I don't take my pig shopping with me, perhaps it could go at the front like those two on the titanic film. I imagine a full pig when i come out and baked beans and bread in the trolley!0
