I've managed to collect £82 for June,so don't feel so despondent now!

Got a few more pounds to add, the regulalar £9.05 and some ebay money! I hope it carries on like this!

Just emptied our piggy and there's £20 in bankable coins. I've left the rest to start June off. Our total overpayment for May has been £370.00 made up of
£135 inital contents of piggy
£111.98 Grocery challenge
£20.00 May piggy contents
£100 regular overpayment
£0.02 to round up
and finally £3.00 confiscated from Mr B for leaving it in his jeans and putting them in the washing machine (along with his mobile phone!).

Just managed to get my sky + package for half price for 3 months, so im going to put the saving (£21.25) into Pork Chop!!!!! Well chuffed with myself for being brave and ringing, as i was threatening to cancel and dont really want to cancel!!!!

Well done catowen - I saw that on one of Martins make me rich, they phoned to cancel were put through to retentions and given half price package, are you going to phone them again in 3 months and say you are not convinced its worth full price??!!!!

Are they still doing this when you call to cancel then? A while ago I heard that anyone calling to cancel would get offered a Sky+ box for £50. One person even had the guy on the phone at Sky tell him he had to threaten to cancel and then he would give him the box for that price so I assume they always have a general offer that they give anyone doing this.
