Argh, door just went... Thought it would be my aunt... It was the freecycle woman... She got a nice view of my belly hanging out of my pyjamas... Oh well... At least not quite such a rush to get dressed now...

Mooki, hope your beanie settles down and gives you a bit of peace today :)

Really just want to go back to bed but my Aunt's coming over this morning, she'll be here anytime and I don't have anything to wear yet... Plus the house is a dog hole... Oh yeah... And a woman is coming over to collect all the teddies I fetched out of Aimee's room the other day... Should really get dressed... Family's 1 thing but sure strangers don't want to see my giant belly hanging out...

**giggle** - just seen your facebook post!!!

Hopefully you can have a sweep today - and set something off! Then the rest of us might feel inclined to follow suit!!

If it's my own midwife, she's offered me a sweep... But it probably won't be her, it rarely is... Plus... I don't like the woman, I don't want her poking round my chuff lol... Hubby offered to sweep me last night... But I've seen how cack handed he is at everything... I declined ;)

Morning all... I've got a real urge to buy a baby bouncer/rocker have seen a couple on mamas and papas I like. I really want something suitable for newborn, I think most are and bright coloured, but modern/nice enough to have in front room.. am I too fussy any ideas?

I have a m/w appt on Thurs - but am not expecting her to offer a sweep (which means I won't get an appt for one until the following Weds - argh! - as she only works 3 days/ week)

Possible tmi alert - I had a feel of my cervix last night (the only advantage in having a prolapse!!:rotfl::rotfl:) and it is certainly softer than it was - but not feeling dilated any more than usual (bearing in mind they don't usually fully close after you've had a previous baby, I believe) My fingers needed to be about a cm longer to achieve anything more though :(

    Ho hum.....

greent - the midwives here are only there tuesday and thursday at my surgery BUT I'm having a sweep on friday with a totally different MW at my house? so you never know... they might arrange a sweep a day you hadn't even counted on :) (I was secretly hoping for a tuesday or thursday sweep but nooooooooooo :) they won't do it till a week over and the nearest week day day is Friday... *sigh*
I don't want to get my hopes up but I'm getting lower back pain and period pains... oh please please please please :)

Forget about the colours on bouncers... I was wanting something really stylish and classy etc but everyone I have spoken to said you want something colourful for the baby to focus on :) So ended up with the Fisher-Price Rainforrest swing (range from £90 - £120 I think) second hand from ebay for £30 :D
