Making wonderful progress altogether on the mess in the computer room. My beloved found me cleaning and commented, You're going to drop in the next two weeks, aren't you?

I hope he's wrong, but the nesting has kicked in with force. I can't stop!

    Hi all..

Congrats Candice :D Hope you and Jacob are doing well xx

Rhys is still doing fine on CPAP although won't take the dummy or keep his mouth shut so there are alarms going off all the time! We found him on his front this morning so they obviously tried again in the night and he was okay and he's like that again now - they turn him every 5-6 hours or so. More explosive nappies - can't wait until he finishes the antibiotics he's on (now day 6 of 7) as they think that's what's upsetting his belly and giving him lots of wind.

He's been coughing which is a good thing as it should be loosening some of the muck from his lungs and there's talk of getting the baby physio to visit to try some physio on his chest to loosen it a bit more (like for cystic fibrosis, although he doesn't have that).

Had him out for an unplanned cuddle earlier - sheets were a casualty of the explosive poo and we get to hold him when they need him out the inci to change the sheets! It was the only time he's opened his eyes today and he kept doing it and looking around which was very nice to see :D

I've also been out into town with my mum and sister. Got Dad's birthday cards including his first "Grandad" card :) Also got some linen trousers and a couple of vest tops, all in a normal size ten, so I'm a bit cooler now. Was strange being in town.. prams and pregnant women all over the place! :( Also my eye sight has gone really dodgy cos I'm not used to looking so far in the distance now. Think I'd better have my eyes tested and get new glasses before I start driving again!

My friend from work is coming in at 7 tonight. I'm sure she won't say anything but I'm still feeling guilty about the state I left my office in. Have been putting my boss off from coming in cos I just know she'll ask me where I left something or why something wasn't done, and I can hardly think straight or remember anything about work at the minute.. :(

All your talk of doing domesticated stuff has made me want to tidy something.. I missed out on nesting - think I'm getting it now! Can't wait to be able to sort out my new kitchen and unpack all the boxes again. Need to do it ASAP once the kitchen is finished to move the boxes away from the lounge walls so they can be stripped.. For now, I'll have to be content with tidying our room before my friend gets here.

    TTFN all xx
