Flights in and out of here are ridiculous !!!
My SIL is in Southampton and it is going to cost us £624 for me OH, Jasmine who is 6 and a 4 month old baby to fly over later in the year !!!

People wonder why we have no tourists

Ouch! Mind you it didn't help when I once booked our flights the wrong way round - so flying out from Belfast and back to London, when we wanted to go the other way round. And booked the hire cars the wrong way round too. Now that was expensive, and because it was a trip to celebrate my father's 80th birthday, we had no choice but to bite the bullet and pay double...

I live in Southampton and it is not a cheap place to fly into or out of, to be honest. If we are paying for flights (as opposed to going anywhere for work) we tend to go from Bournemouth instead. Half an hour-ish drive from here and tends to be way cheaper as the cheapy airlines go to and from there. Would that be an option for you?


Oh my goodness......I just went to check what time we have to be at the hospital for our information evening tomorrow and I couldn't find my maternity. Cue lots of searching then a realisation that the last time I had them was before I cleared all the paper out for recycling at the weekend. OH just fished them out of the bottom of the recycling wheely bin:eek:! How hopeless am I?! Thank goodness our recycling gets taken every other week as the bins got emptied today......

BIL is an air traffic controller there so we would fly direct into it !!

And dot lose your notes - they are your life !!!!!!!!!
