Aw Elle. I'm with the others, say something to the consultant. She should be just as interested as you are in how he is and what he needs. Glad to hear he is moving around more though, that has to be a good thing.

And I'll take the flowers off your hands if you like, ages since I've been given any. All for your own benefit of course, only thinking of your scar xxx

SM - I really want some of your rolo ice cream now, why have I not seen it anywhere?

Craig is going to stay up tonight and visit Rhys regularly to check on him (and the nurse!).. I wish I could stay up to do the same, but I just fall into a deep sleep these days. Dozed for the first few nights up here (once I was discharged and stopped taking the strong painkillers!) but now I'm in deep sleep from 2am onwards :( Thankfully we have a top consultant on this weekend so we will see what she has to say on the morning when she asks for the nurses movement report! ;)

Even more gutting, the lovely nurse we had before this one is on tonight too, but assigned to a different room. Will try to find out if she's in tomorrow night and see what we can do about requesting her.

You're so brave, Elle. Thoughts are with you.

Sorry for the delay just watered my garden and decided what nursery furniture we needed from Ikea tomorrow. See, I can't stop!:D

aaawww elle - she sounds a complete cow! you are very patient i woud have had a hissy fit by now. maybe oh can keep a note on rhys and her attendance to his needs overnight and you can submit it with a request for a different nurse to the consultant tomorrow. ~~SENDING NASTY NURSE GO AWAY VIBES~~

Sorry, lost connection there for a bit

Sounds like a plan elle, when she hands over her report, say he was moving more than that !!
I'm glad to hear you are at least getting sleep, even if you are not eating properly at least you are getting refreshed after a nights sleep:)

Our nearest kfc is 30 miles away. rumour abounds that we may be getting one but we've been hearing that for the last 4 years.

I'm just reading the local paper and our hospital has a 4D scan available now. cost is £65 but with no guarantees that you will get a good pic or dvd (actually further reading makes no mention of a dvd, just 8 thermal pictures, whatever they are). I'm currently 24 weeks on monday and am having a further scan at 31 weeks with my GTT stuff - not really sure of the connection. Will that show me much at 31 weeks (which hopefully would be free) or should I just stop being a tightwad and pay the £65.

    Any suggestions?

harley, I personally dont see the point in private scans if you are getting another one at the hospital.
