My SIL was 12 weeks yesterday. She has had 4 or 5 scans already as she is constantly bleeding. They have no idea what is causing it but baby is still hanging in there.

No! I think I'm getting it on my actual birthday
Today is actually Sis's OH's birthday so would have been a bit mean to have a shiny expensive present to open in front of him coz he only got some CDs (typical man - hard to buy for!)

SM - best way for you to have a good birthday would be to unplug the phone, keep webby & mob switched off and lock the front door and watch a DVD or have a lil party just you 3 soon to be 4 you'd have a great time and no-one could muck it up for you

Phew!

I got a call just before the people came to pick stuff up - my OH was working at the bar tonight and it was completely empty, so he suggested I head over there for dinner and to talk about the tax stuff we need to do, and the potential problem with insurance we have.

By the time I got there I was half dead from the heat and a bunch of people had turned up. So since he was working alone I sat for three hours drinking apfelschorles and reading, instead of being at home working.

Ah well. I'll work tomorrow.

Everything else is done for today and I am shortly going to set my alarm and crawl off to bed. It is unspeakably hot.
