I always tell my two they can have what they want as long as they dont waste it i went and bought little bowls and plates from ikea that way they can only have a small portion at a time and have seconds if wanted and they tend to only have what they can fit in rather than my large dishes which they used to fill then leave most of it.

All these programmes we see that knock kids for not eating properly i always have a pile of fruit in the house and there aint a kid that comes here who refuses any of it. I dont keep sweets, crisps or chocolate in the house your just asking for trouble giving them choices like that :-)

I always tell Aimee she can have anything from the fruit bowl... She usually has 1 of everything between breakfast and lunch...

Searching what about carrot sticks etc? As well as the fruit I mean :) If you buy nice carrots then you could even just top and tail them and wash them carefully and not bother making them into sticks :)
So long as she's not chubby she's obviously burning it all off so maybe a ready stash of carrots to munch would keep her happy?

Thanks for the labourvibes guys... I can't believe I'm actually top of the EDD list... it's scary... :(
She just had a VERY painful stretching session - toad! - but no signs of labour or contractions... want her out SO badly now it's not even funny... grrrrrr

Did you know that raw carrots actually have a negative calorie content it basically takes your body more calories to digest them than you actually get out of them so are a fab snack for us as well once bumps have flown the watery nests and we want to loose the baby weight :-)
