I was experimenting :rotfl: I put a grated parsnip in my last one, OH wasn't amused but Chris LOVED it! Tonights was the biggest success so far, followed by carrot n mushroom. I tried lentils on the advice of many an OS-er but it was too lentilly for our liking.

Can you dish the dirt? I love a bit of mucky gossip!

    Hi everyone,
A quick note from me to say I am still in the land of the living!

I've just been having a horrible week and have been so tired at night times, I haven't come on here. Work is manic at the moment and because I'm not sleeping very well, I think it's all getting on top of me. I am debating finishing work a bit earlier than planned but I don't think I'll get everything done at work in time to finish any earlier. Also, I would like to spend as much time as possible at home with the baby before I go back to work. I'm starting my mat leave on my due date, but am using two weeks of annual leave before that. I do have more annual leave to use up, but work has said they will either pay me for it or I can tag it on to the end of my mat leave, so I don't really want to use it unless I have to. On the other hand, getting tired and stressed isn't going to be good for the baby.

On the plus side, we had our first NCT class earlier this week and it went well, so am looking forward to the rest of them.

I mainly popped on to see if there was any news from Krystal, MrsT and Candice, but I see they are all still with us :D.

Big CONGRATULATIONS to greent though. What a super quick labour, with the added bonuses of pre-pregnancy clothes and home less than 4 hours afterwards!!!

Hugs to Mrs Moc. I've just skimmed the last couple of pages and saw that you're having a tough time at the moment (it certainly puts my moaning into perspective :o). Hope you're doing OK.

    xxxx

Huge congratulations GreenT!!! So thrilled for you.

Glam- Wilkos have those takeaway tubs. They are good for freezing, but for things like lasagne I prefer the foil ones with the cardboard lid as you can just take the lid off and stick them straight in the oven. You can get them from Wilkos too.

Just had the scussiest strawberries ever from Mr S. They were really wooly, IYKWIM. I might go back and compain tomorrow as I was really looking forward to them for pudding and the were rubbish.

So depressing to think I have to be back at work in 9 hours. Not much fun, but I do have my risk assessment tomorrow which should be a barrel of laughs . Need to try and be measured and not over emotional but get the point across that I can't cope physically with my job at the moment...easier said than done at 4 months pregnant.

Gestational Diabetes isn't a given just because you have glucose in your urine sample - Nearly all my samples since about 20/25 weeks have had glucose in them and I ended up with a GTT (glucose tolerance test) after 3 tests in a row with more than 2+'s - it proved that I had a glucose intolerance but only mild and they have just continued to monitor the glucose levels in my urine since - last 2 visits there were no glucose :) (there was protein and something else lol but no glucose) - so just because you have glucose in your sample don't panic :) And I didn't have anything really sugary before my samples either btw :)
