Regarding their OD offer, I asked last week whether they would match my £200 OD with another bank and they said yes and all I needed was a bank statement to prove I had this £200 OD. So whether they would up it to £250, as stated on their website, I shall find out as I am very tempted to switch!
I've been really impressed with A & L recently. I opened their online saver last year and that's earned me guite a bit of interest and it's always touted as being one of the best online savings accounts, including by Moneywise mag. I'm also transferring my ISA to them as they have a good interest rate offer there too! HURRAY A & L!! :TOfficial DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Barstewards!!! Got refused. Probably as I am part-time so can only put in just over £500 per month, plus my rubbish credit rating. Oh well, OH's rating is a hell of a lot better, so will get him to try."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

Hi there
I got an account with A&L last week and they have given me a £1,300 OD facility which as you say, is 0% interest for 12 months. I am waiting for the paperwork which should arrive today/tomorrow and then I will transfer my Barclays OD to this account - saving 15.6% interest
I am hoping this will affect positively my DFD too
We have a joint account with them too and have found the service good, if a bit slow at times.
I am hoping to start referring people soon from my new account - even £5 will help with my debt
Best of luck with it!Leason learnt :beer:0 -
