the bit i'm worried about is i don't know what brand baumatic are?

    as they just rebadge stuff

what surprises me is that you can get either integrated stuff (such as baumatic) or freestanding stuff such as LG for the same price...yet the LG has much better specification (7 KG load instead of 5 KG...better energy efficiency etc) amd LG has a much better reputation (one of the 5 best)

why do you have to pay such a premium for integrated appliances (you dont even get the door with the appliance to make it integrated....thats extra ...from your kitchen supplier)

thanks for the advice guys...me thinks i'll go for either LG or Bosch option (Miele option if my lotto numbers come up tomorrow)

Got all Baumatic in my kitchen, fingers crossed it all ok at the moment. Microwave has broken down once under warranty and once out of warranty. Baumatic tried to charge me for the second time but I argued as it was the same thing that had broken as before and had been replaced by them, then it was covered by its own 6 month warranty. They didnt like it. Not very good customer service and sour-faced service technicians. It wouldnt choose it again.

I've got a Baumatic range cooker, dishwasher & extractor hood. They have been excellent for the 4 years I have had them, not one problem. I previously had some Bosch stuff (expensive) & had a few problems. It seems whatever you buy you have to just be lucky so I now feel it's not worth paying extra for an expensive brand name.

    Neff are very good too.

Integrated appliances are more expensive because....

    they sell less of them
tend to get discounted when buying a new kitchen
when they break you "have" to buy a new integrated one (and they make a killing)

Dont bother wasting your time on people who dont like you
