I've got an Admiral and the specs do indeed quote 600mm but the reality is that it will sit further out than that.
600mm would assume you can get it flush with the back wall and doesn't include the handles.Does anyone happen to know what models are less than 650mm deep?...slimmer the better.
I did see an Admiral listed as being 600mm but you often cant tell if that includes handles or any obstructions at the rear.
Oh and whats the chance of fitting some sort of door stop to the bottom of these.0 -

Thanks for that, what would you say is the overall depth of it, handles included, I went round a few stores today but none had any admiral models, plenty others and they were all over 670mm including handles.0 -
I had a look at mine this morning and it probably is about 670mm including the handles. However the back of the fridge is completely flush so if you have services at the back then it will stick out further because it cannot go back all the way.
If you are looking for a bargain then look for graded stock, just find out what makes it graded. Ours had a buckle in the metal frame at the bottom but a bit of the straighten and leveling of the feet made it almost perfect. That little bit of work got me a £1700 fridge for £850 from EbayThanks for that, what would you say is the overall depth of it, handles included, I went round a few stores today but none had any admiral models, plenty others and they were all over 670mm including handles.0 -
Please don't go for a Smeg!! We treasured the idea of having a nice new shiny Smeg in our new kitchen, we saved up together for ages – it really does look the part but only one year on we're having to replacing it with a basic model fridge which has better functionality (and half the price) albeit ugly.
Shame we wasted our money.:mad:0 -

Thanks for the info, is there a particular seller who deals in Admiral graded stock?
Which model did you go for, any idea if all the Admiral models are around 670mm with handles.
I notice most come with a plumbing kit, can you just choose not to use this, it's just the location of where we hope to put the unit it's not so handy for plumbing0
