Gordon Brown - What Next?

When Tony and Gordon were working out that deal all those years ago this probably wasn't what Gordon had in mind.......
I thought at the time that Tony's timing was good.....good doesn't even begin to do it justice..it was impeccable...0 -
Well things are looking grim for Labour according to The Sun:0

I have to have a chuckle at these "polls". They aren't so much questions they ask...more rhetorical statements....
Always cheers me up though.0 -
Stretch it one year and a few days 19- 5, the people who matter will know what this means'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

They will develop new rules to ensure they continue to maximise expense claims that are within the rules.0

If a week is a long time in politics !!!!!! is a year :rotfl:I know it sounds crazy, but I will be having a serious look at Labour to win the next election after the annihilation in the Euros's.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. You can get 6.2 about Labour right now on Betfair (a little better than 5-1) to get most seats or 13.5 (25-2) for a Labour overall majority.
Tories are about 1.2 (5-1 on) and 1.5 (2-1 on).
Lib Dems at 70 for most seats is possibly worth a small interest. Or maybe laying the Tories if they get to 10-1 on.0 -

No I want them after they get trashed in the Euro elections, greedy I know'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. It'll be interesting to see what happens to their odds - I wonder if a complete thrashing is already factored in to the prices?
I still think the best political bet out there is a General Election in the second half of the year. My bet is in the money now.
I reckon Labour's best hope is that people are embarrassed to admit that they are going to vote Labour so don't tell pollsters (like the Tories in 1992).0 -
When is the absolute limit for having the General Election next year?0
