Gordon Brown - What Next?

The Prime Minister has been the unluckiest in recent times. With a terrorist plot in London 2 years ago and an actual attempt at Glasgow airport; the economy falling into recession; banks being bailed out and the current expense scandal. These are the main points, there's been many in between, including the possibility of an election in 2007 which he pulled out on later.

So, what else do you think will happen in the next year?

    A hung Parliament I expect.

Politics is too cyclical for anything else, and I don't think things have degenerated quite enough for voters to start believing that regressive Conservative politics are the way forward.

Labour always ruin the economy, bloat the public sector, and reward the fekless. Brown has to take responsibility for at least some of our current situation, don't forget, back in '97 he said he wouldn't allow a housing bubble to destablise the economy, well guess what ??

Hopefully the tories will get back in, things won't be perfect for sure but they are likely to crush the public sector until the pips squeak to repay our debt, that in itself will be enough for me.

A hefty few million per year as some sort of consultant, most probably.

A year's a long time in politics, especially with Labour in power. I just think a lot more scandal and problems are going to hit Gordon before the election.

Yes. Gordon Brown seems to have seen plenty of bad issues in his time.
Too too many. The list is endless. Maybe we need a change to herald some new life

Me too. The proles are coming. Hogg can raise his drawbridge all he likes but to paraphrase Ghostbusters "I ain't afraid of no moat"
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
