3 netweork deal: is unlimited email included??

Options
Hi

I'm a tad confused with the With the £15 Texter & Internet plan, you get:

75 Minutes
Unlimited Texts & Internet & Email
FREE Unlimited mins on 3 to 3 calls every month</SPAN> FREE Skype-to-Skype calls forever

It states unlimited internet & email, but when you look at the plan in detail it says: Unlimited internet and Facebook access is Internet Max add-on (1GB) - phone browsing only.

Does this mean I can send and receive my home email (using orange webmail) for free, as opposed to having them download into an inbox on my phone - which I assume I buy an add on for?

Confusion reigns......

Thanks again

You could do either, it would be very clunky using the webmail interface though. If you are getting the Nokia E63, there are dozens of email progrm available for it including one made by Nokia, in addition to the built in email program on the phone.

For the package you are looking at the Internet Max add-on is included in the plan.
    What it costs

Our great-value internet data packages are called Internet Add-ons. With an Add-on you can save money when you surf and control what you spend. They start at 50p a day if you’re on Pay As You Go, and are just £2.50 or £5 a month if you’re on Pay Monthly. With our Pay Monthly Add-ons you also get unlimited Email on 3.

I think this implies you need to use their "Email on 3" application for free email access, otherwise if you use any other email applications it will just count against your 1GB internet data. Which is suppose to be restricted to browsing, but people use it for more than just that and have no problems. Emails account for very little in terms of internet data, so I wouldn't be too worried unless you regularly receive large attachments.

If you are concern you can always check your bill/usage on My3 to see if they are charging you for something that was considered part of your plan.

I know someone who got stung for charges because they bought the £2.50 internet addon that included free emails, but was surprised to see they had been charge. The reason was free emails was only free if he used their "Email on 3" client. Otherwise it was chargeable once he had used up his 10MB of internet data.
