  • it is possible that it was not food poisoning despite some eating wedges some not

before giving them 'a piece of your mind' I would seek medical advice and as mentioned talk to an EHO

If your child is that ill you must take them to the docs, they may need a stool sample, and if it is something which is a public health risk then you will be asked where you ate. Whether or not you have some of the food saved is irrelevant.
It could have been a recation to food but not necessarily poisoning. When I eat too much wheat based food i get painful stomach cramps and my nice flat stomach disappears! Takes at least a day to recover, but its nobody elses fault but mine in those cases;)

well - son back at work today - back to normal self as last nights food intake proved for him lol - i dont really know now whether it was food poisoning or just a very bad tummy bug/reaction to the food - just a coincedence that hubby was sick just after eating the wedges and then son very sick - and they were the only ones to eat them........??????

envir. health have found no problems so i will just put it down to experience - the pizza manager was going to phone me back but hasnt so nothing more i can do - their hygiene and that checks out...........

thanks everyone for your help/advice/kind words........
