 Browntoa has done his best to help me, he's been excellent, as always.
But now I need to get the phone ( Nokia 6230i ) unlocked , I assume by cable.
Does anyone on here know where I can get this done in the South Wales area .Nearest to Bridgend if possible.
Thanks,
bill

How far is Bridgend from Cardiff?

There are a few stalls at a car boot sale in Cardiff that do it - my husband had 2 phones unlocked there a few months ago. I'll wait him to get back from work and post the name or location.

    Thanks for replies.
I managed to get it unlocked at a computer outlet on the local industrial estate in Bridgend this afternoon. after asking all the local phone shops.
I must say they weren't helpful at all, especially CPW who said "You can't get that done anywhere legally".
Anyway it's done, and thaks for all your time.
Thank goodness for this Chat Forum !

    Hi,
They charged a tenner........Watched them do it.........From handing it over to having it back in my hand..............About a minute !
Bloody hell ....£600 per hour !
I think I'll buy some equipment and set up....................Any idea how much it costs for the software and cables ? Oh yes and tuition for an idiot !
I'm quite happy with the cost to be honest, I was just about ready to use a lump hammer on it...................That's about my idea of hardware.................Software...........A rubber hammer !
Cheers and thanks for all help given
