Connecting my mobile to my livebox....?
Options
Hi
I have a new phone and am trying to use the internet on it, so I am trying to connect it to my livebox.
I have searched on connectivity and can see my livebox, so have clicked on that. It is then asking me fofr Pre-shared key for WLAN?
Not sure what this is - I have lots of numbers etc for the livebox. I have tried the password for the livebox but it doesn't like that.
Can anyone help me please? thanks

it may be printer on the bottom of the router. you should be looking for a WPA-PSK code if it asks for a pre shared key.
alternatively, you may have to log into the router (livebox) from a pc and look under the wireless settings page for the code. on my netgear router, the code is located under wireless settings in the routers web admin pages0 -
Thank you= I'm not v good at this!
On the back of the live box there are several numbers, but none called WPA PSK. They are all quite long.
There is:
S/N
@Mac
WEP Key
I have looked at the live box setting page, and on the wireless settings there are:
Devise address:
Livebox name:
WEP Security Key
Are any of these what I'm looking for?

they should be the ones that you need.
but if i was you, i'd upgrade to the more secure wpa-psk as wep encryption can be hacked pretty easily0
