Today - [STRIKE]burgers for dinner.[/STRIKE] Not very Sundayish but they were reduced in M&S and oh-so-tasty
Monday - [STRIKE]gammon joint cooked in cola in the slow cooker. Served with chips and peas [/STRIKE](Using chips to make room in the freezer)
Tuesday - tuna steak, peas, tatties Nope, had leftover gammon, egg and toast
Wednesday - Spaghetti Bolognaise, just have to remember to defrost it Nope, chili instead
Thursday - lamb a la slow cooker. Will have tatties, carrots and other veg with it cooked in the SC as well
Friday - going to the pub, so Chinese could be an option. Going to take chili out of the freezer though to try and keep me on the right path
Lunches
Nothing more exciting than ham sandwiches I suspect as I don't get paid until Friday. I also have yoghurts, apples and crisps for snacks. I must remember to take my flasks with me to work for free coffee fun.
I have vague plans to make pea and ham soup with the leftover gammon. Any suggestions as to how I do this would be appreciated!
It's not going entirely to plan...!
Forgot to take tuna steak out of the freezer, but had spare gammon, so no loss there. I also made pea and ham soup with the leftover gammon too, so felt very worthy and it was tasty too
I meant to have bolognaise tonight, but the sauce for that and my chilli are similar in colour, so it was Freezer Surprise tonght - the surprise was chilli :rotfl: My plans for the pub have been cancelled, but I will see what I can forage from the freezer.0
