I was very impressed with myself for mostly sticking to the plan last week. We had sweet and sour chicken and rice, instead of the fajitas on one day, and were invited to my Gran's birthday tea another night.
Have really got to watch the food wastage situation now as money is very tight, so may switch days to use things up sooner. I'm concerned about next week's shopping bill as will need to start restocking the freezer and definitely need to buy more meat. Will only be able to budget £20 a week on food for two of us for the forseeable future. Am off to read the 'feed family on next to nothing' threads now.
